Meet an upload limit

Choose Fit a file-size limit, select 100, 200 or 500 KB (or a custom value), then compress. The result shows the actual bytes and final dimensions.

Compress to a file-size limit

For a form with a 200 KB limit, choose Fit a file-size limit and Under 200 KB. The tool searches JPEG or WebP quality, then reduces dimensions if necessary. It reports the actual bytes before download. Check the final dimensions and visual quality; KB here means 1,000 bytes. Manual mode also supports PNG, which may be larger than the source.

When to use it

Automatic mode adjusts JPEG or WebP quality first and reduces dimensions if necessary. Check that the smaller image still meets the destination requirements. Use Manual mode for PNG or a fixed quality.
