This optional feature needs a separately hosted server. It is not connected in this release. Public Reels and single-video posts may be supported when connected; Instagram can block requests or require sign-in.
Save your own Reels and Stories
Before sharing a Reel, look for the download or save control in the editor. Music licensing may limit what is included in a downloaded copy. For your active Story or an archived Story, open its menu and look for a save option. Available controls vary with app version and account settings.
Export your account content
Instagram provides an account information export through Accounts Center. Use the official export flow when you need an archive of your own content. Instagram Help: exporting your information.
Respect permissions
A public URL is not permission to reuse content. Obtain the creator's permission and respect copyright, privacy and Instagram's terms. Keep original copies of important work.
